Prokom team

The PROKOM board has appointed a dedicated and experienced management team who are responsible for the day-to-day running of the PROKOM community. They will act as the driving force for developing the content programme, managing PROKOM events, membership subscriptions and member feedback. The management team is responsible for reporting directly to the PROKOM Board.

Admitting that he’s been into ‘gadgets, gizmos and the web’ for as long as he can remember, Andy’s job has always involved being in and around logistics, print and mail all his life.

Alongside working for one of the largest delivery companies in the UK, formerly known as Business Post Group, he is a regular speaker at industry conferences promoting his vision for the future of print, mail and related areas of direct marketing.

He was responsible for the launch of imail, UK Mail’s award-winning print and mail solution for corporate, marketers and individuals. From a standing start in 2008, imail is now a £10m business, printing more than 50 million images a year, capturing the prestigious 2013 World Mail Award.

Andy is married with two young children and has an MBA from Open University, specialising in marketing.

Mark has been in the production printing industry for over 24 years, his role is to lead the Market development for Konica Minolta Europe to support their customers to transform, grow and thrive in a world of digital communications.

Mark is responsible for the creation, delivery and management of new market opportunities and supporting Konica Minolta customer programmes.

Mark acts as the PROKOM lead within Konica Minolta and the conduit between PROKOM members, PROKOM partners and the management team.

Printfuture are a consultancy and publishing specialist in the printing and packaging sector. They work with a diverse range of print companies on projects from strategy and investment opportunities to operational improvement and adding new services.

They publish numerous reports and white papers from the drupa Global Trend and Insight reports to the Konica Minolta Digital 1234 White papers and Implementation guides.

Neil has over 30 years’ experience in the printing industry – across production, management and consulting. He understands how the industry works and crucially, what makes printers tick. As an international strategy consultant, he has led market studies, due diligence projects and business improvement programmes. In 2014 alone, Neil worked on five continents, so his global perspective and knowledge of different operating regions are an invaluable part of guiding clients through the current market trends.Richard was formerly the commerical director at the British Printing Industries Federation and the chief executive of Vision in Print. Richard has 25 years’ experience in print industry senior management and as a consultant, he led the Pira international consultancy team. At Vision in Print, Richard oversaw the implementation of a lean manufacturing programme to improve the competitiveness of companies and raise the performance of the whole UK print industry. Over his career he has gained extensive knowledge of running membership organizations and arranging industry events.
